Resveratrol is a phytoalexin produced naturally by several plants when under attack by
pathogens such as bacteria or fungi. 存在於許多植物中的植物抗毒素,讓植株可以對抗細菌或真菌的感染
Resveratrol has also been produced by chemical synthesis[1] and is sold as a nutritional supplement derived primarily from Japanese knotweed.
由日本人發現這個化學結構,也被當成營養品販售
Resveratrol has been shown at times to extend the life span of yeast and mice.[2]
它可以延長小老鼠和酵母存活的時間
In mouse and rat experiments, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, blood-sugar-lowering, chelating and other beneficial cardiovascular effects of resveratrol have been reported.
在小老鼠和老鼠的身上發現有抗癌和抗發炎,降低血糖並且對心臟血管有好的影響
Most of these results have yet to be replicated in humans. In the only positive human trial, extremely high doses (3–5 g) of resveratrol in a special proprietary formulation have been necessary to significantly lower blood sugar.[3] Resveratrol is found in the skin of red grapes and is a constituent of red wine, but apparently not in sufficient amounts to explain the "French paradox" that the incidence of coronary heart disease is relatively low in southern France despite high dietary intake of saturated fats.[4]

(法國反論(French paradox):法國人的飲食與其他西方國家一樣,都是高熱量高脂肪的飲食型態,不過法國人罹患心血管疾病的機率卻比其他類似飲食習慣的國家要來得低很多。)

這些文字當然是訴說它的神奇之處,實證方面,待期末考後會續追蹤.
學姐說它存在在黑金鋼花生的黑色花生皮,紅酒,葡萄皮,漿果類,黑梅
市面上有在販售的店家不多,但是光是實驗室使用的就非常昂貴.(11000NTDs/100gm)
